Obtaining an Orion Labrador Retriever Puppy

If you would like an Orion Lab puppy, please contact me. Expect me to have as many questions for you as you may have of me. The information you provide will aid me in helping you select the puppy that best satisfies your needs. Talking with you also helps me to insure that the future owners of my puppies will provide them with a good home and a fulfilling life.

Since the main goal of my breeding program is quality, not quantity, there may be a waiting period before a litter is whelped and your puppy is available. If you have expressed interest in a puppy I will contact you once pups are on their way. At that time you may send a deposit of $250 to reserve a puppy. If there are no puppies in the litter to satisfy your request for sex or color, your deposit will be refunded or you can use the deposit to reserve a puppy in the next litter. Deposits are not refundable in cases where you simply change your mind, so be sure you are serious about acquiring a puppy before you send a deposit.

I would like you to visit us at least once before the pups are ready to go home, if that is possible. It is important for me to meet you, and I expect you to be interested in seeing the dam, the pups, and how they are being raised. I put a lot of effort and love into raising puppies. It’s much easier for me to send them home with a new friend who I know will take good care of their puppy. Plus, if I get to know you I will be better able to help match you with the pup that best suits your needs.

The price of my puppies varies depending on the breeding, as stud fees and other expenses can vary. The price will be set once the pups arrive. Generally, the price for a puppy will range from $700 to $1,000.

Started dogs are occasionally available. The price depends on their age and level of training. If you are interested in a dog that has had his complete series of puppy vaccinations and some training please check out the “Started Dogs” tab to see if we have any available at this time.
